Parkland called Abbey Green is located close to Barking's downtown. Two bus lines, among the many, that travel along the perimeter of the property, pass just by the park, which is close to Barking Town Centre. It takes roughly 5 minutes to walk to Barking Station.
Near St. Joseph's School, there is a tiny playground with room for kids to run
Marks Gate Open Space, also known as Tantony Green, is a tiny green featuring a somewhat sized play area, a meeting shelter, and a basketball court. Excellent play areas for all age groups:
one basketball court, outside gym equipment for all ages, one 5-a-side football pitch, dog-free children's playground.
The eco-park is a hideaway where locals can unwind and enjoy themselves while flora and fauna can flourish.
Fish have returned to the dredged riverbeds, where grass and wildflowers are blooming. These ditches will also serve as a haven for aquatic plants, frogs, and toads.
The park is managed to sustain these throughout the year. A wide variety of habitats have been constructed to support all types of animals.
